K Bank said on Monday it has begun recruiting for a hiring-linked internship that will offer hands-on work experience and a chance of full-time employment over two months in July and August.

K Bank's hiring-linked internship is a track introduced in 2022. It has become a representative hiring route for young job seekers in the internet-only banking industry, where recruitment is centred on experienced hires. Since last year, it has expanded to operating twice a year in the first and second halves.

This internship focuses on selecting 'AI natives' with AI capabilities in line with its 'AI Powered Bank' strategy.

Across all jobs, AI understanding and experience using AI will be reflected as key evaluation factors. An AI assignment that all interns participate in will be run during the internship period.

Interns will carry out job-specific assignments based on coaching from team leaders and mentors, including AI-based work efficiency, producing AI agents, and planning services and processes.

The roles being recruited cover a total of four areas: Biz Marketing (planning financial products and services), Tech (backend development and information security), and Compliance (anti-money laundering).

The hiring process will proceed in the order of document submission, an aptitude test and assignment or an AI interview, and then an interview. Starting with this recruitment, an AI interview will be introduced except for the backend development role, for which it will be replaced with a coding test.

Applicants must be those expected to graduate in August 2026 or those who have already graduated. Those who have already graduated can apply if they have less than two years of full-time work experience. Document submissions will be accepted through the recruitment website until 5 p.m. on April 24.

Selected interns will be placed in business units from July. Those who receive strong evaluations will be converted to full-time employees in September.
