OpenAI said on Thursday that ChatGPT supports HWP and HWPX files, document formats used in Hancom Office's Hangul.
Users can now upload Hangul documents directly to review and analyse their contents without converting files separately.
Users can upload an HWP or HWPX document to ChatGPT and immediately check its contents. They can also find needed information through natural-language questions and answers or summarise key points.
OpenAI said it is expanding support so Korean users can use ChatGPT naturally in the document environments they use every day. It added it will continue improving features that reflect Korean users’ work styles and demand.
