Fasoo AI held its annual conference, “FDI Symposium 2026,” on April 15 at Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul. It unveiled step-by-step strategies and new solutions for companies’ AI transformation (AX), it said on Wednesday.
About 400 officials from IT and security companies and institutions attended the event, held under the theme “Sustainable AI Transformation.”
Fasoo AI used the conference as its first public move as an “AX support company” after changing its corporate name. Through a keynote and session presentations, it shared a phased strategy for executing AX and customer cases, and debuted new solutions including its AX consulting service “FAAX” and its AX platform “Ellm.”
In the keynote, CEO Jo Kyu-gon (조규곤) stressed that sustainable AX requires a balanced focus on long-term return on investment and risk management. He said building AI-ready data and governance infrastructure is key to linking AI to tangible business results. He added that companies should design integrated data, security and operations systems, as AI agents’ autonomous actions can produce unexpected outcomes and the scale and speed of cyber attacks are increasing.
Yoon Kyung-gu (윤경구), an executive director at Fasoo AI, and Koh Dong-hyun (고동현), a managing director at the company, cited key reasons companies fail to scale AX across the enterprise after a pilot. They listed data quality and fragmentation, lack of governance, difficulty validating ROI, lack of capabilities and problems integrating existing systems. As a response, they presented a three-stage AX approach that moves from Assistant AI to collaboration-centered Agentic AI and then to Agent Orchestration. Yoon said Ellm is a core platform that helps companies rapidly build and operate agentic applications based on corporate data.
Rob Marano (롭 마라노), CEO-designate of Symbologic, a U.S. unit set to launch through a merger at the end of this month, and Vice President Ron Arden (론 아덴) also spoke, sharing global AX and AI security implementation cases. Jang Il-su (장일수), CEO of Sparrow, unveiled the secure coding agent “Sparrow AI.”
Jo said, “Starting with this FDI, we will establish ourselves as a company that supports achievable AX.” He added, “We will continue to expand and advance our portfolio, including an AI platform, agentic AI, governance solutions and consulting, while increasing customers at home and abroad.”
