Samsung Securities said on Tuesday it has been selected as a member of the "Sustainability Yearbook 2026 (S&P Sustainability Yearbook 2026)" published by S&P Global, one of the world’s three major credit rating agencies.
The "Sustainability Yearbook" is a yearbook that selects companies with strong performance across ESG based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment that S&P Global conducts each year.
The top 10 percent of companies worldwide by ESG management performance are selected. In 2026, 848 companies were chosen as top performers out of 9,200 firms in 59 industries around the world.
Among them, 63 South Korean companies were selected, and Samsung Securities was named a member for a 16th consecutive year.
A Samsung Securities official said, "We will continue to do our best to enhance long-term corporate value through ESG management and fulfil our social responsibilities."
