Netmarble said on Tuesday it has formally launched the action RPG "Mongil: Star Dive" on PC and mobile platforms.
"Mongil: Star Dive" is a sequel to "Monster Taming," released in 2013. It features Unreal Engine 5-based characters and story presentation. It also includes a "monster collecting" system for capturing, collecting and fusing monsters, along with real-time tag play and combat action built around three-person parties.
From Tuesday, users can play the mobile version through Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The PC version can be installed through the Epic Games Store and the game’s official website via the Netmarble launcher.
To mark the launch, Netmarble is running events including an adventure with Yaongi, monster capture and boss challenge missions, subjugation challenge missions, and dimensional rift challenge missions. Completing events provides rewards including the character summon ticket "Compass of Promise," the 5-star promotion item for Monsterling "Special Golden Promotion Stone" and a "Monsterling Box."
The first event recruitment character is Esde, a maid at the "Maid and Clover Inn." Through the event "Welcome to Maid and Clover," the company will provide the profile decoration live background "Esde: Maid’s Smile" and growth materials as rewards.
