Network security solutions company Handreamnet said on April 13 it took part in Japan IT Week 2025, Japan’s largest IT exhibition, held at Tokyo Big Sight in Japan, and showcased infrastructure for the next-generation artificial intelligence (AI) network era.
Handreamnet, marking the 15th anniversary of establishing its Japan unit this year, set up a large exhibition hall spanning 12 booths. It showcased various network solutions that combine stable traffic-processing performance and security. At the exhibition, its Japan market-focused high-performance security switches, the SG2500 series and SG2600 series, drew attention.
Handreamnet pointed to a rapid shift in data-flow direction toward upstream in AI network environments, worsening uplink bottlenecks and security threats for L2 and L3 switches. Handreamnet uses SubGATE security switches with improved switching processing performance and capacity to transmit surging upstream data to the core network without delay. It also implements cyber resilience for changing infrastructure environments through network switches.
Seo Hyun-won (서현원), Handreamnet’s CEO, said, "With uncompromising quality-first principles, we were able to achieve sustained growth in the Japanese market for 15 years." He said, "We will provide network infrastructure that can ensure business continuity in the coming AI network era."
