KT on Monday held the 11th KT Partners Day 2026 to communicate with its partner companies.
KT Partners Day is an event where KT and its partners share business direction and review the basis for cooperation. KT presented its 2026 cooperation direction as essence, growth and mutual growth. It declared it would move away from a price-centered competition structure and shift to a competition system centered on quality and technology.
For partners with excellent quality, it will expand incentives such as preferential allocation of volume and pursuing multi-year contracts. It will strengthen security standards across the entire process of equipment introduction, operation and disposal to raise purchasing quality and stability.
To strengthen partners' business competitiveness, KT will promote commercialisation support using its own resources and joint public-private resources. Centered on the Pangyo Open Innovation Center, it will expand startup space and strengthen links to fundraising.
It also shared cooperation measures to respond to supply chain risks. KT will apply payment linkage standards that reflect exchange rates and fluctuations in raw material prices. It will seek to secure advance volumes of key materials by improving demand forecasting and making unit prices more realistic. It will continue to support partners' management stability, including expanding the target for support from its win-win cooperation fund to partner companies of group affiliates.
The event also held an awards ceremony for partner companies that created outstanding results through cooperation with KT. A total of 32 companies won excellence partner awards in three categories: AI and IT, telecommunications, and cooperation with group affiliates.
