The city-run Foreign Resident Comprehensive Support Center will also move in and provide daily life information and settlement counselling, Korean-language education, settlement support programs and Korean cultural experiences. It will also provide free medical services for foreigners every Sunday.
Attendees at the opening ceremony included Kim Mi-sook (김미숙), executive vice president of Hana Bank's Central Sales Group, Ha Byeong-pil (하병필), vice mayor of Incheon, and officials from Incheon-based institutions and organisations related to foreign residents.
Kim said the Hana Global Culture Bank is a base space to support foreign residents' settlement in the local community. She said Hana Bank would continue its cooperation with the Incheon city government.
