[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Wrtn Technologies, an AI service platform company, said on April 14 its 2025 annual results showed revenue growth of about 15 times from a year earlier.
According to external audit financial statements disclosed by Wrtn for the first time in its fifth year since founding, last year's sales were about 47.1 billion won, up 1,432.9 percent from about 3.0 billion won a year earlier.
Operating expenses in 2025 were about 105.9 billion won, up 3.2 times from a year earlier. The operating loss was about 58.8 billion won, up 1.95 times from a year earlier.
The company stressed that losses rising by less than two times while sales grew 15-fold shows it has entered the early stage of a growing J-curve.
Chief Executive Se-young Lee (이세영) said, "Last year's steep J-curve has continued sharply into this year," adding, "This year as well, we will continue a solid and explosive growth trend as Korea's leading AI service company by diversifying revenue through the full-scale rollout of the AX business and expansion into global markets."
