AI and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea and Albamon, operated by Worxphere, were found to rank No. 1 among South Korean job-search apps by monthly active users (MAU).
Data jointly analysed by JobKorea and data analytics solution Mobile Index showed JobKorea recorded about 5.54 million MAU in the first quarter of this year. Over the same period, it ranked ahead of Saramin with 4.87 million, Remember with 2.39 million, Incruit with 410,000 and Wanted with 220,000.
The company said JobKorea’s number of job applications in the first quarter rose 13 percent from a year earlier. Compared with four years ago, it was up 152 percent, with applications rising every year since 2022. Albamon also recorded job applications up about 8 percent from a year earlier.
JobKorea is focusing on improving the hiring experience, including a full overhaul of its main page and the launch of AI Recommendation 3.0, in line with its name change to Worxphere and the declaration of a vision centred on an AI career agent.
A JobKorea official said, "As the hiring market is being reshaped around mobile, this No. 1 MAU ranking is meaningful in that it is a platform users visit the most and that leads to actual applications." The official added, "Worxphere will advance a personalised hiring experience based on data and AI technology and evolve into an AI-native HR platform that connects companies and talent with the greatest precision."
