The Broadcast Media Telecommunications Commission said on April 13 it will run a public consultation on its first-term vision through April 30. Anyone can take part through the agency website or by email.
The first-term vision sets out the commission's work direction and implementation plan for the next three years. Individuals and groups can submit policy ideas or proposals to respond to crises and prepare for the future in broadcasting, media and telecommunications. The commission plans to draw up the vision based on the submissions and make it public.
Chairman Kim Jong-cheol (김종철) said, "We want to communicate with the public as we shape the future direction of the newly launched agency." He added, "We ask for many suggestions on the policies needed for broadcasting, media and telecommunications."
