Pearl Abyss said on April 9 that its "Crimson Desert" was selected as PlayStation's "best new game of March."
The PlayStation Blog holds a user vote each month for newly released games. "Crimson Desert" ranked first in votes, beating "Marathon," "MLB The Show 26" and "Scott Pilgrim EX."
"Crimson Desert" set a sales record as a new intellectual property, selling 2,000,000 copies on its first day, 3,000,000 copies in 4 days and 4,000,000 copies in 12 days. After a patch was applied, its global user rating on Steam is "Very Positive."
