KT said on Tuesday its CEO Park Yoon-young (박윤영) visited the Western Regional Headquarters’ total sales centre at KT Gunpo Tower as part of a field-first management approach.
Park has focused on on-site management since taking office to minimise a management vacuum and restore customer trust, including networks, facilities and customer contact points. During the visit, he encouraged employees who are the first point of contact with customers. He also checked the redeployment status of specialist personnel in the total sales organisation.
“I offer my respect and gratitude to all employees who represent KT and sweat on the front lines,” Park said. “KT is what it is today because of your sense of responsibility and dedication,” he said.
Park visited KT’s Network and Security Monitoring Centre in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, immediately after taking office on March 31. On April 4, he carried out his first regional schedule at the Western Network Operations Headquarters and the Western Corporate Customer Headquarters in South Jeolla and North Jeolla provinces.
