AI networking startup Aria Networks raised $125 million in a Series A round, Reuters reported on April 7 local time.

The investment included Sutter Hill Ventures, Atraides Management, Valor Equity Partners and Eclipse Ventures.

Founded in 2025, Aria Networks bills itself as an AI-native network. It focuses on helping AI data centres operate more efficiently and at lower cost.

A key metric is “token efficiency,” which measures AI output against data centre operating costs. The company says its network is compatible with all AI chips on the market, including those from Nvidia and Google. It offers flexibility for companies to upgrade or swap hardware without replacing their entire network infrastructure.

Aria Networks said it has already secured customer orders and is carrying out deployments. It will focus the funding on building AI-native networks it calls “Networks that Think.”
