AI and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea, operated by WorkSphere, will hold a networking program called Hreka Day on March 19 for HR leaders to share concerns and experiences.

With competition among companies to secure talent intensifying, the role of HR organizations is also rapidly expanding. Cases of hands-on staff growing into team leaders have increased, but communities to share concerns about organizational management and leadership remain insufficient. JobKorea said it prepared the program to support HR leaders' growth and the exchange of insights in response to the trend.

Hreka Day will be held for free for "beginner leaders" with 5 years or less of leadership experience. It has organized group study sessions so participants can share difficult cases they faced in practice, including organization management, leadership and mental management. Under the theme "HR team leaders' wrong-answer note," it will support the exchange of practical insights by sharing problems encountered at work and experiences in solving them.

The event will also feature a special lecture by Min-kyung Yang (양민경), CEO of the talent management webzine HR Bulletin, on the theme of "common mistakes made by beginner team leaders." Yang plans to share know-how that can help drive the growth of individuals and organizations together through various examples of the mindset and organizational management that less-experienced leaders should have.

The event will be held from 7 p.m. on March 19 at the JobKorea headquarters lounge in Seocho district, Seoul, and will recruit about 50 leaders in the HR field. Anyone who is a "beginner leader" with 5 years or less of experience can apply through a notice post on JobKorea. Applications close on the 11th of next month, and selected participants will be notified individually.

JobKorea plans to continue expanding communities by field through holding its own offline events on hiring and careers and operating online chat rooms.

A JobKorea official said the HR industry is changing rapidly due to advances in AI technology, and the need for communities where leader-level practitioners can share experiences and concerns is also growing significantly. The official said the company will further expand online and offline communities to help HR leaders grow and share practical insights, starting with the networking program.
