LG Energy Solution said on Monday it posted preliminary first-quarter revenue of 6.56 trillion won and an operating loss of 207.8 billion won.
Revenue fell 2.5 percent from a year earlier and operating profit dropped 155.5 percent, turning negative. The company swung from a profit to a loss after a year. Performance also worsened from the fourth quarter of 2025. Revenue fell 1.2 percent and operating profit declined 70.3 percent.
Tax credits under the 45X provision of the U.S. IRA (Inflation Reduction Act) Advanced Manufacturing Production Credit (AMPC) totaled 189.8 billion won. Excluding this, actual revenue was 6.37 trillion won and the operating loss widened to 397.5 billion won.
