Enterprise solution company Younglimwon SoftLab said on Monday it has completed an ERP implementation project for Poongjeon Bicheol, an aluminium smelting and alloy manufacturing specialist.
Poongjeon Bicheol has been pushing to upgrade its management system and strengthen its data-use capabilities. In line with that drive, it introduced Younglimwon SoftLab's K-System Ace and linked companywide operations, including management, sales, procurement, production, human resources and finance, on one system. It unified data standards and reorganised work processes to build a more consistent management environment.
It also implemented a more precise cost management environment by applying a cost system that reflects by-products, and set up a decision-making environment using real-time management information.
A Poongjeon Bicheol official said, "With this ERP rollout, companywide operations have been connected into a single system, and we can use management information more quickly and precisely." The official added, "We believe we will be able to confirm tangible improvement effects in cost management and production operations."
Yoon-kyung Park (박윤경), a vice president at Younglimwon SoftLab, said, "In the non-ferrous metal industry, the precision of cost and inventory management is directly linked to corporate competitiveness." She added, "We supported smooth data-driven management by reflecting Poongjeon Bicheol's industry characteristics and operating environment. We will continue to support digital transformation and stronger competitiveness for manufacturing companies based on our industry-specialised ERP capabilities."
