Devsisters said on April 7 it will hold the global official tournament for the trading card game (TCG) "CookieRun: Braverse Card Game", the "CookieRun: Braverse Card Game World Championship", on April 11-12 at S-Factory in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul.
The world championship is a global tournament that determines the winner among players who advanced through regional qualifiers. It will be held at S-Factory, a venue spanning 3,305 square metres, and will run hands-on content and side programs. Admission is free without advance reservations.
Eighteen players selected from 10 regions including South Korea, the United States, Canada, Taiwan and Southeast Asia will compete. Canadian player Winston Sing, the winner of the North America Champion Cup in December last year, will also take part.
Matches will be held on April 11 in a random tournament format. The winner will receive a trophy, a 18.75-gram gold coin, and championship-only memorabilia. Side events will include the one-on-one battle "Brave League" and the two-player team format "2 on 2 (2-on-2)". All participants will receive a world championship limited legacy pack.
The venue will include the "CookieRun Card Collection" experience zone, where visitors can collect cards and interact in a Roblox-based 3D space, a "Card Collecting Event Zone" for booster pack collection and card trade missions, and a "Cookie Drawing Zone".
A workshop to learn the basic rules and play style will be held, and stage programs will include "CookieRun Golden Bell" and a "Booster Pack Open Gacha Event". It will also run a "Stamp Rally Mission" in which visitors collect stamps to receive prizes.
