Global edtech company AvoLabs said on Sunday it has built partnerships with more than 50 language academies and education institutions in South Korea through its agentic AI-based language learning platform, AvoLingo.

AvoLingo is a hyper-personalised AI language learning platform that designs optimal learning paths tailored to each learner's level and goals. Learners can strengthen practical English skills through immersive free-talking and situation-based roleplay with AI avatars. It also offers a function that immediately analyses uploaded offline textbooks and automatically converts them into learning content. This automates repetitive tasks such as creating and grading homework, allowing teachers to focus on guiding students, and can cut class preparation time by more than 90 percent compared with existing levels, the company said.

AvoLabs provides these core experiences based on its self-developed ALA (Agentic Learning Automation) technology. ALA is an engine that automatically creates a learning environment aligned with an institution's existing curriculum. It is designed so AI agents autonomously handle operational and management processes that teachers used to perform manually. This makes it possible to build an advanced Learning OS without separate development costs or additional staff, the company said.

AvoLabs CEO Deniz Albayrak (데니즈 알바이라크) said AvoLingo is establishing itself as a partner that provides students with a personalised learning experience while improving operational efficiency at education sites. He said the company will accelerate its expansion into Japan and Southeast Asia within this year based on a successful model proven in South Korea and will lead the global edtech infrastructure market.
