KB Kookmin Bank said it is recruiting participants for the "KB Global Future-Growth Finance Camp".

The camp is designed to help youths broaden their perspectives by experiencing the global financial and industrial environment firsthand. It will run in Shenzhen, China, for three nights and four days. It is a youth program set up following the "KB Finance Camp" held for college entrance exam takers in February.

Applications are available until May 15 on the KB Star Banking event page. The bank will select a total of 120 participants by lottery from customers born between 2011 and 2016 who sign up for at least 300,000 won in a KB Asset Management fund and register automatic transfers of at least 100,000 won a month. The results are due to be announced on May 20.

Selected participants will take part in programs in Shenzhen, China, known as "Asia's Silicon Valley". Activities include tours of global companies and start-up districts, smart consumption experiences based on O2O (Online to Offline), and producing team vlogs and planning new-business apps.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We hope this camp will be an opportunity for youths to directly sense the flow of global change and broaden their perspectives." The official added, "We will continue to expand programs that support the growth of future generations."
