Koh Young Technology carried out a tree-planting volunteer activity along Seongbok Stream in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, to mark Arbor Day. The company said on Sunday employees planted saplings of tree species with high carbon-reduction effects near a walking trail. Before the volunteer work, employees received brief planting training and were then sent to the site.

A Koh Young official said, "It was an even more meaningful time as we planted trees ourselves along a walking trail we often visit, together with the start of warm spring." The official added, "We hope it helped create an environment that Yongin residents can use more comfortably."

Koh Young also continued community-linked activities last year. In April last year, it signed a business agreement with Yongin Special City to promote locally linked career education. Under the agreement, the two sides agreed to jointly develop hands-on and practical training programs centered on industrial sites, and to pursue network building and resource linkages. The company said it plans to support career planning for students interested in related industries based on its expertise in semiconductor inspection equipment.

In June, it also carried out environmental cleanup volunteer work at Seongsimwon, a childcare and youth care facility in Yongin. Koh Young plans to continue systematic social contribution activities such as environmental cleanup and support for vulnerable groups, and to encourage voluntary participation by employees.
