Fintech firm Pinda said on Tuesday it is launching an agency service for interest rate cut requests to help loan customers reduce their interest burdens.

The service’s core feature is that once a customer applies, it regularly checks whether a rate cut is available at each financial institution and carries out the request procedure on the customer’s behalf when requirements are met. If a request is not accepted, customers can easily check and manage the reasons for rejection and any missing conditions.

To use the service, users link their loan accounts through MyData asset connection in the Pinda app and select the account for which they want to proceed with an interest rate cut request.

A Pinda official said the service helps customers who have not been able to exercise their rightful rate cut requests due to busy work to do so at the earliest possible time. The official said Pinda will work to raise customer satisfaction by using data for everything from loan execution to post-management of rate cuts.
