AI startup Anthropic has upgraded Claude Cowork and added plugin features that can integrate with Google Drive, Gmail, DocuSign and FactSet, CNBC reported on Monday.
The company said the update improves Claude Cowork so businesses can use it more easily. Companies can boost productivity by using plugins tailored to specific tasks such as financial analysis, engineering and human resources management.
Kate Jensen (케이트 젠슨), head of the Americas at Anthropic, said the update makes Claude Cowork more optimised for the enterprise market. She stressed that it also improves accessibility so that general office workers can use it easily.
Anthropic is trying to differentiate itself by focusing on enterprises against strong competitors such as OpenAI and Google. The company said 80 percent of its revenue comes from corporate customers, and its AI coding tool Claude Code has become an essential tool among engineers. Jensen said Claude Cowork will also become an indispensable tool for knowledge workers.
