ITCEN Entec, an IT services and AX specialist, said on Feb. 24 it won Shinhan Bank’s project to rebuild its legal funds payment system and has begun full-scale work.
The project aims to rebuild with the latest AI technology Shinhan Bank’s payment infrastructure for legal funds that require accuracy, including court deposits, custody funds and service fees.
ITCEN Entec will apply its specialised AI solutions to the project. Using AI-based automatic coding, automated deliverables generation and refactoring technology, it plans to rebuild existing work processes and code in an updated Java environment and improve development productivity and deliverables quality.
A company official in ITCEN Entec’s financial business division said, "We carried out various types of pilots even before the project kicked off with Shinhan Bank and refined our AI development methodology. This project, driven by trust between the two sides, will be an excellent success case symbolising innovation in financial IT." The official added, "We will concentrate all of our technological capabilities so that Shinhan Bank can secure global top-level AI competitiveness."
