SK AX said on Wednesday it is rolling out AXgenticWire NPO (New Paradigm for Operation), an agentic AI-based infrastructure operations service, to prevent system failures.
The company said AXgenticWire NPO lowers the failure rate by having agentic AI detect, analyse and judge problems in advance and complete corrective actions.
SK AX said that in the recently expanding AI cloud environment, complexity is increasing as it must consider GPU resource management and workload variability, raising the possibility of human error. It said that under AXgenticWire NPO, agentic AI integrates management of such operating environments to pre-emptively block operational risks.
It said that when AXgenticWire NPO is applied to manufacturing, it can minimise potential risks by detecting abnormal signs in real time during equipment and process operations. In finance, it can help implement an uninterrupted electronic financial IT operations system during transaction and authentication processes, it said. It also said the public sector can improve stability for public-facing services and strengthen responses to failures.
Cha Ji-won (차지원), chief AI innovation officer at SK AX, said that because the structure has AI move first and respond across operations, it can minimise the risk of failures caused by human error. He said introducing AXgenticWire NPO would allow companies to speed up the shift to executing AX, from a system with no downtime to application services, and would also make it possible to innovate operating cost structures and redesign processes across the full AX domain.
