Cloud-native specialist ITCEN CLOYIT said on Wednesday it won a merit award at last month’s opening ceremony of the Hwaseong AI Autonomous Driving Hub, in recognition of its contribution to building infrastructure for an autonomous-driving mobility operations platform.
ITCEN CLOYIT said it applied hybrid cloud technology to process massive volumes of road traffic information and autonomous-driving data in real time. It stressed that this secured scalability to respond flexibly to sharp growth in data, while also delivering ultra-low latency, an essential requirement for autonomous-driving services, creating a stable environment for demonstrations.
The Hwaseong AI Autonomous Driving Hub will test eight autonomous-driving services in public sectors, including mobility support for people with transportation difficulties and demand-responsive public transport, the company said. It added that the infrastructure built by ITCEN CLOYIT will play a pivotal role in ensuring these services run stably and can be expanded.
Kim Woo-sung (김우성), CEO of ITCEN CLOYIT, said, “We will continue to advance a high-performance, high-reliability infrastructure environment required by the future mobility industry, based on cloud-native technology.”
ITCEN CLOYIT plans to use the award to strengthen its leadership in the public mobility infrastructure market while also accelerating efforts to target global markets.
