AI hospitality technology firm H2O Hospitality (H2O) said on Monday it has teamed up with Greenit, which provides golf course reservation and operations solutions, to roll out a service that integrates the H2O smart check-in solution into a golf course management system (GMS).
The company said this is the first case of introducing smart check-in for a golf hotel linked to a GMS. It was first applied at Maple Beach Golf & Resort in Gangneung, Gangwon Province.
With the two systems connected, customers who play golf at Maple Beach CC can enter their rooms using smartphone check-in without waiting at the golf hotel front desk. They will receive seamless service from booking a round to lodging check-in and room entry. From the golf course’s perspective, the integration reduces errors from manual entry and eases the burden of night operations, improving efficiency.
H2O Chief Executive Woong-hee Lee (이웅희) said businesses that operate both golf courses and golf hotels have faced operational difficulties due to split systems. He said the integration is a successful case that resolves inefficiencies and innovates the customer experience, and he is confident it will have positive ripple effects across the broader golf hospitality market.
