AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on Tuesday it signed a strategic partnership with cloud security firm Zscaler to strengthen zero-trust-based cloud security.

The companies plan to combine Zscaler SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) with MegazoneCloud's cloud architecture design and migration consulting capabilities to provide a zero-trust security framework optimised for customer environments.

MegazoneCloud's HALO unit, which oversees its security business, offers HALO Zero Trust introduction, migration and implementation services that support designing access scopes suited to work and system characteristics in cloud environments and applying and building them in phases under zero-trust principles. Through the service, MegazoneCloud pre-defines access scopes based on work and system characteristics during cloud migration consulting, then links zero-trust technologies such as Zscaler to apply them to real environments. It also supports policy application and the establishment of operating procedures so the standards are maintained after migration.

Wi Soo-young (위수영), head of MegazoneCloud's HALO unit, said zero trust is not completed by introducing a single solution, but requires a structure in which design tailored to the cloud environment, phased transition, and defined access standards are applied and maintained consistently in operations. He said the partnership with Zscaler will strengthen the HALO Zero Trust service and deliver security results that customers can tangibly feel during the transition process.

Foad Farrokhnia (Foad Farrokhnia), vice president for Asia-Pacific channel and alliances at Zscaler, said MegazoneCloud is a partner with a deep understanding of cloud migration and operations. He said the companies will expand cooperation so South Korean firms can reflect access scope in design from the early stages of cloud migration and naturally extend zero-trust security into operations.

Zscaler plans to open a booth at ICON 2026, a partner conference hosted by MegazoneCloud, at the InterContinental Seoul Parnas Grand Ballroom on Wednesday and introduce its AI-based zero-trust security platform.
