Natural-language understanding AI company Muhayu said on Monday it has hired Chief Product Officer Kyungsoo Kim (김경수).
Kim graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in philosophy and earned a master’s degree in cognitive science at the university’s graduate school. He has experience at SK Communications, where he was responsible for platform planning and operations for the NateOn messenger app and the Cyworld social networking service.
Following the hire, Muhayu presented an “explaining AI” brand as a core part of its 2026 product roadmap. It aims to complete a platform that supports responsible user decision-making by clearly presenting the basis for AI judgments. The goal is to build trust by strengthening explainability ahead of the implementation of the AI Basic Act.
In education, it plans to use Monster’s oral assessment function to build a first line of defense against AI-generated assignments and to build a trust-based learning infrastructure that directly verifies learning comprehension.
Muhayu CEO Dongho Shin (신동호) said, “Kim is talent with both a philosophical background that has considered the nature of intelligence and practical platform operations experience.” He added, “Combined with our 15 years of data assets, we will build AX infrastructure that secures trust in AI decision-making.”
