Mgame said on Monday it has signed a publishing agreement with Vietnam game service company VTC Mobile for the mobile massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Ghost Online M'.

The agreement expands Mgame's service footprint to Vietnam after its entry into Thailand in October last year. The contract runs for three years from the start date of local commercial service. Partner VTC Mobile will hold business and operational rights in Vietnam.

VTC Mobile is a subsidiary of Vietnam state-owned company VTC Group. It is a publisher with experience servicing Korean games in Vietnam, including 'MU Legend' and 'Three Kingdoms Blade'.

'Ghost Online M' is a game released in November 2024. It recreates ghost and martial arts themes for mobile with 2D side-scrolling action.

The contract includes a clause stating that ownership of the game database will revert to Mgame, the original rights holder, even after service ends. This secures stability in asset protection and management.

Cho Kwang-chul (조광철), a head at Mgame, said he was pleased to partner with VTC Mobile, which has experience in Vietnam's game market. He said the company will prepare for the launch so it can introduce 'Ghost Online M' to users in Vietnam.
