KT Cloud said on Monday it has obtained the Cloud Security Assurance Program (CSAP) certification for its KT Cloud Platform, stepping up efforts to target the public cloud market.
The company said the KT Cloud Platform will gradually apply a multi-availability zone (Multi-AZ) structure beyond multi-region. It plans to build, based on its data centres, a multi-region system between Seoul and North Gyeongsang Province and a Multi-AZ system between Yongsan and Mok-dong in Seoul. It also plans to provide an advanced disaster recovery environment and high-availability infrastructure.
Ahn Jae-seok (안재석), head of technology at KT Cloud, said the KT Cloud Platform is core infrastructure that converts customer IT environments into a cloud-native structure based on KT Cloud’s global-level technological capabilities. He said the company will improve service reliability through Multi-AZ-based high-availability infrastructure and support stable cloud operations for customers.
