TikTok said on March 30 it will expand support programmes this year for music creators active on TikTok Live.

TikTok said the number of domestic music live creators rose by about 10 times over the past year after it ran music events and creator development programmes.

TikTok plans to build a structure that lets creators form fandoms and stay active. It will connect online-focused activity to offline performances and set up a growth structure that later extends to global stages. It plans to keep expanding opportunities to present music content by developing performance programmes and external partnerships.

As part of the effort, it held the 'TikTok Live Jeju Ecoland Spring Busking' on March 27 at Jeju Ecoland Theme Park. The event was hosted by Jittomeok (지또먹), a TikTok Live Korea ambassador creator for 2026. Six people took part: Yun-a Lee (이윤아), P.JUN (피준), Dannyboy (대니보이), GOLD (골드), GOU (고유) and Hi (하이), who won an in-app programme.

They are creators across genres including Korean traditional music, hip-hop, musical theatre, K-pop and trot. The performance site was streamed live through the official TikTok Live Korea account. The show was conducted in a format where the offline audience and online viewers joined at the same time, communicating via live chat.

TikTok plans to run music performance programmes regularly starting with this busking event and to keep expanding offline content. It also plans to link with global music events to broaden overseas exposure opportunities for creators.
