[DigitalToday reporter Suk Dae-geon] Shinsung E&G donated 10 million won to St. Peter's Home, a child welfare facility. The company said on Thursday it decided on the donation to support learning and provide psychological and emotional stability for children living in an environment separated from their original families. It is part of its social contribution activities for vulnerable children.

The donation will be used to improve the learning environment at St. Peter's Home and support professional psychological counselling. In education, it will cover fees for a managed study room for children preparing for entrance exams. It will also provide a reading education programme for children who need to improve vocabulary and literacy. In psychological and emotional support, it will run regular individual counselling linked to professional counsellors to help develop emotional expression and regulation skills.

The project will run for about 8 months from next month to November. It will target 3 children living at St. Peter's Home. The funds will be used for managed study room fees, reading education programme costs and counselling costs.

A Shinsung E&G official said it is important to support children so they can continue both their studies and emotional development in a stable environment. The official said the company will continue social contribution activities for vulnerable children as a company that grows with the local community.

Shinsung E&G provides environmentally friendly industrial solutions based on cleanroom environmental control technology and a renewable energy business. It received an A grade in Sustinvest's ESG assessment for the second half of 2025.
