Toss Securities said on Tuesday it has launched an artificial intelligence-based "Real-time Issues" service that ranks key market investment topics.

"Real-time Issues" provides 20 core issues with high market influence by analysing domestic and overseas news volume and real-time interest. It also uses its in-house Ontology technology to analyse links between information and provides a summary of how specific issues affect related industries and companies.

For example, if an investor selects the issue "sharp drop in lithium prices", Toss Securities' AI analyses and shows the impact the issue could have on the cost structure of cathode material companies and on the broader industry.

Toss Securities plans to expand the scope beyond news to include issues mentioned in real time on X, formerly Twitter.

A Toss Securities official said "Real-time Issues will be a place for beginner investors to learn the market structure, and an analytical tool that adds conviction for experienced investors." The official added, "We will continue to lower the barriers to interpreting information with AI and create an environment where all investors can make independent, data-based judgments."
