WantedLab said on Tuesday it will fully open to the public its agentic design system, Montage, which it has advanced in its internal working environment.

The company said an agentic design system is designed so AI agents can use it directly. It added that the system is meaningful because it presents an integrated design-and-development system beyond distributing a UI library.

The company said Montage has been operated internally at WantedLab and continuously improved and advanced. It began as a designer-centric library, but has recently been upgraded into a system that can be used in practice by strengthening links to development code.

The company said Montage is designed for AI agents to understand design context in a rising era of AI transformation (AX). It added that it subdivided components so AI can interpret each element and structured and applied metadata, or descriptive information.

It said internal tests shortened work that took an average of 3 to 4 weeks from planning through development to about 2 to 3 days, demonstrating time savings of up to 90 percent.

WantedLab said it decided on the full release based on market reaction and quality verification it obtained when it previously released a UI kit ahead of time last year. It said it plans to expand knowledge sharing in South Korea's design ecosystem through the move.
