Pinda said on March 24 it obtained ISMS certification for its information security management system.
ISMS certification is a scheme that assesses whether a company has built and operates its information security management system in line with standards.
Pinda met a total of 80 criteria, including 16 for establishing and operating management systems and 64 requirements for protection measures. It also passed inspection items such as incident prevention and response and applying encryption.
The scope of the certification includes the Pinda app loan comparison platform, the OpenUp artificial intelligence commercial-area analysis service and the Pinda Unicorn financial management service.
Pinda plans to continue upgrading its information security management system and maintain the certification through annual follow-up and renewal reviews.
Kim Tae-hoon (김태훈), Pinda's chief information security officer, said, "We have strengthened our information security management system by obtaining ISMS certification." He added, "We will continue to raise our security level in line with changes in the digital finance environment."
