RSUPPORT, a company specialising in remote solutions, said on Monday it signed a Japan master distribution agreement with anti-ransomware firm Everyzone for the anti-ransomware solution WhiteDefender at RSUPPORT’s Godeok headquarters in Seoul.

Under the agreement, RSUPPORT will oversee sales, selling, distribution and marketing of WhiteDefender in Japan. It will have exclusive master distribution rights in Japan for the WhiteDefender SaaS product in particular.

RSUPPORT has a strategy to provide WhiteDefender with Everyzone to build a secure business environment in Japan.

RSUPPORT plans to supply WhiteDefender in earnest to the Japanese market by using its customer base, distribution network and sales know-how built over about 20 years in Japan. WhiteDefender is a 100 percent signature-less anti-ransomware solution that detects even unknown new and variant ransomware in real time through behaviour-based detection and blocking algorithms.

Through the cooperation, RSUPPORT will expand its overseas business portfolio by adding security products following products that combine remote technology and AI technology.

RSUPPORT CEO Hyung-soo Seo (서형수) said the cooperation would help customers secure a safer digital business environment and would also allow Everyzone’s technology and products to be introduced to the Japanese market. He said RSUPPORT would continue to act as an active bridgehead so that excellent domestic software products can be recognised in overseas markets, based on customer references and a partner network it has built up in Japan.
