Line Games on Thursday unveiled its self-developed new PC title 'Hamster Talk' for the first time and opened an official Steam page where users can download a demo version.
'Hamster Talk' is an idle social simulation PC packaged title. Unlike typical gameplay, it applies a play style suited to the idle genre.
The game's biggest feature is that users can continue their daily life and work even after starting play. Users can lightly play with cute hamsters moving on one side of the PC screen, interact with each other and build bonds.
Users can also carry out direct play such as touching the hamsters, feeding them and cleaning. They can decorate and embellish the hamsters' town to suit their preferences. It also provides a social play experience that allows real-time communication and making friends through a plaza where users from around the world gather.
'Hamster Talk' will take part in Steam Next Fest, held online from 3 p.m. on Feb. 24 to 3 p.m. on March 3 (Korea time), starting with the release of the demo version. It plans to launch officially on Steam in the first half of this year.
The release version will add production content and a feature to visit friends' towns that are not included in the demo.
