Com2uS Holdings said on Feb. 20 it signed a business agreement with Seoul Digitech High School to foster contract-based specialised high schools and improve education.

The agreement supports students' career exploration and creative activities to cultivate future talent specialised in games and digital content. The two sides plan to provide practical career exploration opportunities and link education to workplace practice to help strengthen creative capabilities. They aim to train practical talent that can continue to grow in the industrial field.

Com2uS Holdings will prioritise providing various opportunities to experience the realities of the workplace, including recruitment, contests, education programmes, internships and hands-on programmes that it hosts or joins. It will also review measures to ease participation conditions for its game contest so students' ideas are not left unused. It also plans to strengthen its close-to-the-field support. It will provide workplace-based mentoring on students' creations, including games they produce, to raise practical capabilities, and it plans to cooperate actively if a consortium is formed related to operating contract-based specialised high schools.

Seoul Digitech High School will support overall programme operations so this industry-academia cooperation model can run smoothly. It will cooperate in the overall process, including programme guidance, recruiting and recommending participating students, and coordinating schedules, and plans to focus on cultivating talent that meets industry needs.
