Hana Financial Group said on Friday it invited Paralympic MVP Kim Yoon-ji (김윤지) to its headquarters in Seoul's Myeongdong on March 19, delivered encouragement money and held an autograph event for employees.
Kim is the child of a Hana Card employee, and the event was arranged to commemorate her results at the competition.
Kim won 5 medals at the Games: gold in the women's biathlon 12.5 km sitting sprint, gold in the women's cross-country skiing 20 km interval start sitting, silver in the women's cross-country skiing sitting sprint, silver in the women's cross-country skiing 10 km interval start sitting, and silver in the women's biathlon sitting sprint pursuit.
She medalled in 5 of the 6 events she entered. She also became the first South Korean athlete to win 5 medals at a single competition, including the Olympics and Paralympics.
Kim said, "Thanks to the support from so many people, I was able to stay focused on the competition to the end." She added, "I am grateful to Hana Financial Group for inviting me." She also said, "I will continue to show a good performance."
