Unity on March 19 officially launched Unity Studio, a web-based editor that lets users create and share 3D content without coding.

The company said Unity Studio helps teams turn 3D ideas into finished outputs through collaboration. Users can import 3D data through a drag-and-drop editor and create content such as product demos, training scenes, tutorials and configurators. It said finished outputs can be shared across devices to shorten review and revision.

Unity Studio, which includes Unity Asset Manager, integrates with Unity Asset Transformer, which supports 3D data such as CAD and BIM, allowing it to be introduced into existing workflows. It provides an end-to-end workflow linking the full process of preparing, creating and sharing 3D data.

Song Min-seok (송민석), head of Unity Korea, said Unity Studio helps teams quickly bring ideas to life and shorten feedback cycles to increase project speed. He said it will play a key role in helping companies move digital transformation into the execution stage.
