Binggrae said on March 19 it will cut factory-gate prices for its ice cream products.
The products covered, and their price cuts, are Linky Bar (7 percent), Guseul Polapo Kiwi & Pineapple (8 percent), Royal Cookie Sand Peanut Butter (10 percent), two Milky Fruit products (10 percent), two Low Sugar Day products (6 percent) and Nyam (8 percent). Factory-gate prices for the covered products are set to fall by an average of 8.2 percent. The changes will take effect from April 1.
A Binggrae official said the company decided on the cuts to join the government's price-stabilisation drive at a time when the livelihoods of ordinary people are under strain due to international instability and a domestic economic slowdown.
