ITCEN Group said on Tuesday it will participate as the largest shareholder and a sponsor of Artlian Co., the official operator, to support the successful staging of the World Artpiad, an Art Olympics promoted by the International Association of Art (IAA), and its preliminary event, the Asia Artpiad.

ITCEN Group plans to go beyond simple corporate sponsorship by applying the group's IT capabilities to the art industry and acting as a strategic partner to lay the groundwork for a "digital Art Olympics".

ITCEN Group Chairman Jin-mo Kang (강진모) and audit committee chair Young-ho Kim (김영호) were appointed as AAC special committee chairman and auditor, respectively, joining the organising committee's core management. ITCEN Global and the Korea Gold Exchange will support efforts, as official sponsors, to revive cultural events that had remained side events since the 1992 Barcelona Olympics as an independent and authoritative "Art Olympics".

ITCEN Group plans to incorporate real-world asset (RWA) technology into CENSPO, an event operations platform that has successfully hosted the Olympics and multiple international events.

Going forward, ITCEN Group plans to support digital art platform projects to discover next-generation artists. It also plans to cooperate for the successful staging of Asian and global events as a partner in realising AAC's vision of reviving the Art Olympics.
