AI company CILab said on March 17 it signed a memorandum of understanding with Japan-based industrial facilities company Ehwa Machinery Japan to supply its AI infrastructure solution AstraGo and jointly develop business.

CILab plans to accelerate its push into the Japanese market based on its capabilities to maximize operational efficiency of high-cost GPU resources.

The company said AstraGo 2.0 is a Kubernetes-based intelligent GPU cluster management solution that uses intelligent scheduling to manage multiple GPU resources in an integrated way and minimize idle resources.

The two companies plan to combine Ehwa Machinery Japan's sales network across Japan's manufacturing industry with CILab's infrastructure-building know-how to generate tangible sales results that go beyond simple technical cooperation.
