Netmarble pre-released its multi open-world RPG 'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin' on March 17 on PlayStation 5 and the global game distribution platform Steam.
'The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin' was developed based on the intellectual property of the manga 'The Seven Deadly Sins', which has recorded cumulative sales of 55 million copies.
The release version features a total of 18 types, including original heroes such as Meliodas, Tristan, Diane and King, as well as original characters.
Combat is played by forming a team of 4 heroes and switching characters depending on the situation. It supports a 'Hapgi' system of cooperative skills between characters and multiplayer content where players form parties to challenge bosses.
On PlayStation 5, the game applies the DualSense controller's haptic feedback and adaptive trigger functions. The haptic feedback is used for combat skills and device operation, while the adaptive triggers implement varying pressure sensations for activities such as fishing and when characters use magic. It also supports 4K resolution graphics.
To mark the pre-release, Netmarble will grant about 59,000 Star Fragments and 90 permanent hero draw tickets as in-game rewards. Through a launch event, it will also provide SSR-grade hero Gila, an SSR Black Flame Wings lance, an SSR craft weapon selection box, 60 permanent hero draw tickets, 10 pickup hero draw tickets and 4,300 Star Fragments.
Netmarble plans to open the mobile platform on March 24 and carry out a grand launch after this pre-release on PC and console.
