Jobis & Villains, which operates SamSamSam, said on March 17 it unveiled 'New SamSamSam,' which lets customers receive tax refunds first and pay service fees later in the refund process.
Under New SamSamSam, customers first complete a refund application, then pay the service fee after confirming the refund has been deposited into their bank account.
The company said the refund application procedure has also been made more user-friendly. Personalized surveys needed for a 'maximum refund,' such as for dependents, a monthly rent tax credit and an income tax reduction programme for small and medium-sized company employees, are completed on a single page.
Kim Beom-seop (김범섭), head of Jobis & Villains, said introducing post-payment innovates the service structure so customers can use the service with peace of mind without a payment burden. He said the company will continue to advance and innovate its services for customer convenience as a first mover in the tax-tech market.
