HanbitSoft has sharply improved profitability in 2025, helped by global performance of its main game and management efficiency efforts.
On Feb. 13, HanbitSoft said in a filing on changes of 30 percent or more in revenue or profit structure that 2025 consolidated revenue was 37.9 billion won, operating profit was 284.3 million won and net profit was 3.7 billion won.
Revenue rose 13.8 percent from a year earlier, while operating results swung to profit from a 1.4 billion won loss. Net profit also jumped 145.8 percent from the previous year, showing a clear improvement trend in performance.
The company cited expanded sales from new games and strong results at affiliated companies as the main reasons for the changes.
Its main game, Granado Espada M, maintained stable sales in key overseas regions including Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Japan. It also strengthened earnings power through profitability-focused operating strategies such as upgrading live services and improving cost efficiency. The business units of its subsidiaries also contributed to improved consolidated profit and loss by strengthening market responsiveness and making operating structures more efficient.
HanbitSoft plans this year to continue growth by expanding global service regions for existing games and strengthening the competitiveness of its subsidiaries. It secured additional growth momentum through a recently signed China publishing contract for Granado Espada M.
A HanbitSoft official said, "A publishing contract has been signed in China, the market we are most looking forward to for Granado Espada M, our key game, securing momentum to drive revenue growth," and added, "This year, the global expansion of our main IP and management efficiency will become visible, and we will be able to show results that take us up a level."
