[DigitalToday reporter Hojeong Lee] SOOP will livestream exhibition games played at overseas training sites ahead of the professional baseball season opener.

On Thursday, SOOP said it will livestream KBO League clubs' spring camp exhibition games for about three weeks from Feb. 19 to March 7.

A total of 8 clubs will take part, including the KIA Tigers, KT Wiz, Lotte Giants, SSG Landers, Samsung Lions and Doosan Bears. The games, played at overseas training sites including Australia and Japan, will allow viewers to check the form of highly touted rookies and new foreign players in advance.

The first broadcast is KT against the Melbourne Aces, to be played in Melbourne, Australia, at 5 p.m. on Feb. 19 Korea time. SOOP will also livestream matchups between domestic clubs and Japan’s Pacific League teams, including the Orix Buffaloes, Seibu Lions and Chiba Lotte Marines. The full schedule ends with KT against Samsung at 1 p.m. on March 7.

SOOP will exclusively livestream KIA, KT and Samsung exhibition games held in Okinawa, Japan. Commentators Jang Sung-ho (장성호), Ahn Kyung-hyun (안경현) and Oh Hyun-taek (오현택) will take part, along with casters Kim Tae-woo (김태우), Hong Seok-hyun (홍석현), Kang Seung-wan (강승완) and Kim Sang-yeop (김상엽), to support analysis.

The full game schedule can be watched through SOOP’s 'Baseball Neutral 1' and 'Baseball Neutral 2' channels.
