AhnLab on Thursday held its 2026 New Year kickoff ceremony at its Pangyo office building and carried out promotions.

At the event, CEO Kang Seok-kyun presented the 2026 management policy and key tasks aimed at continued adaptation and innovation amid an era of a major AI transformation and a rapidly changing market environment.

Kang presented the 2026 management policy as 'AXELERATE AhnLab', combining 'AX', meaning a major AI transformation, with 'Accelerate', which emphasizes accelerating change and execution.

In line with the policy, the company set 'AI-First Transformation' as a key task to implement it in concrete terms. AhnLab plans to reorganise product and service innovation and its overall internal work methods around AI to strengthen its responsiveness to change and speed of execution.

AhnLab also plans to pursue steps in parallel, including strengthening product and service competitiveness, balanced growth and expanded external synergy, and establishing a foundation for sustainable growth. It plans to continue mid- to long-term growth based on the AI-first transformation.

The event also included a presentation session in which leaders of each division and headquarters shared this year's major business strategies and goals with all employees, as well as year-end employee awards. Kang said it is a critical time to accelerate change and execution to respond to a rapidly changing market environment, along with product and service innovation centred on AI in an era of a major AI transformation. He stressed that in 2026, the Year of the Red Horse, employees should pool their capabilities in their respective positions with the momentum of 'ten thousand horses surging forward' to create AhnLab's new leap together.

AhnLab also carried out executive promotions, including 2 to senior vice president and 4 to vice president.
