Wello, the operator of WelloBiz, a customised public project management solution for companies, said on Wednesday it has released the "2026 Government Support Programmes Consolidated Notice, First-Half Edition".

The notice covers key information needed for corporate growth, from large central government research and development programmes to local government specialised support and policy financing. Wello said the material provides specific guidelines for companies seeking to secure funding and build a platform for growth, and aims to support the drivers of stable business operations.

In the first half of this year, 123.7 billion won will be allocated to the TIPS programme to discover and foster startups with technological capabilities, and the startup growth technology development (R&D) programme for startups with seven years or less of operating history totals 786.4 billion won. This year, a 14.3 billion won programme to support innovative small merchants in using AI has been newly established to help their digital transformation. Regional support measures of tens of billions of won are also being rolled out, including Seoul's 4.5 billion won Seoul Startup Hub M+ and Incheon's 4.75 billion won company-demand tailored technology development programme.

Policy financing support to provide practical backing for business management will also continue. Small and medium-sized firms can obtain up to 500 million won through start-up foundation support funds, while small merchants can secure liquidity of up to 70 million won through general management stability funds.

WelloBiz will run a "BizPass encore promotion" through Feb. 28 to help such opportunities translate into results. It said it will refund the full usage fee if users are selected for a government support programme while using the service.

Yuri Anna Kim (김유리안나), Wello's chief executive, said, "With large notices concentrated in the first half, it is important to proactively identify accurate information so as not to miss support opportunities."
